I believe in web standards and open source development.

I wrote this site from scratch in XHTML and CSS, using PHP, GNU emacs and Ubuntu Linux.

My name is Chris Hand. I'm an educator, designer and technologist based in Bangalore, India.

I've been lecturing in universities since 1990, in subjects ranging from Computer Hardware, HCI and Virtual Environments, to Product Design, Graphic Design and Interaction Design.
